To date, OAO Slavoil is among the largest top twenty oil companies located in Russia. The Holding’s vertically integrated structure ensures the full production cycle – from exploration and hydrocarbon production to processing. Slavoil refinery holds licenses for exploration and oil production at 26 licensed areas located in Siberia (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra) and the Krasnoyarsk region.
In Russia our onshore facilities are active within such areas as crude oil reception treatment.
Slavoil Refinery also has the technical responsibility for the world’s most extensive subsea pipeline system for the transport of oil.
Russia, where Slavoil Refinery has been present for over 17 years is an important area for Slavoil’s international expansion.
We are participating in the Kharyaga oil field development project in the Nenets Autonomous District and cooperating with TAT Neft on the development of the large and complex Shtokman field offshore the Barents Sea.
We are also maintaining and further developing a significant presence in north-western Russia through cooperation with authorities, industries, universities and research centers. Slavoil Refinery is constantly looking for new business development opportunities in oil projects in Russia with a focus on the Arctic.
The recently signed strategic cooperation agreement with Slavoil Refinery to jointly explore four offshore fields in the Russian Barents Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk and conduct joint technical studies on two onshore assets is regarded as an important milestone for Slavoil’s ambition to expand its engagement with partners and build a strong long-term position in Russia.
We believe Slavoil Refinery can make a significant contribution to further development of the Russian oil industry based upon our 17 years of experience in developing complex projects in harsh environments, strong HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) performance and leading technological expertise.
